We booked Turtle Beach Resort somewhat spontaneously while my husband was traveling for work, deciding on a whim to bring our cat and turn the trip into a weekend getaway. We visit Siesta Key at least twice a year and have stayed in a wide range of accommodations over the years including beachfront condos, Airbnbs, and various resorts. The primary reason we chose Turtle Beach Resort this time was simply because they welcome cats, so we arrived with fairly modest expectations.
From the moment we arrived, however, we were absolutely blown away. This property is truly a hidden gem.
Upon entering, you walk through lush, beautifully maintained gardens accompanied by the soft sound of trickling fountains. The atmosphere is peaceful and serene with birds singing, greenery everywhere, and an immediate sense of calm. We were warmly greeted by Mark, whose gracious and welcoming demeanor set the tone for our entire stay. He enthusiastically introduced us to the property, thoughtfully orienting us and even accompanying us to our condo.
To our delight, we discovered that our unit included a private jacuzzi, two secluded patios, and our own dock. When we reached the top of the stairs and saw the view across the water, it quite literally took my breath away. The scenery was absolutely stunning.
Having visited Siesta Key many times, it’s hard to believe we’ve stayed anywhere else. Turtle Beach Resort was perfect for us in every way. It’s an ideal destination for those seeking tranquility, privacy, and an immersive connection with nature. Guests looking for a lively party atmosphere may want to stay closer to the main beach area, but for anyone craving peace and beauty, this place is exceptional.
We could not have been more satisfied with our stay. It was truly an incredible experience, and we look forward to returning.
Stayed here mid May for four nights in the Rainforest Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Stayed here years prior to this in the Hibiscus Cottage and looked forward to our return. The Rainforest is a perfect place to relax and had everything we needed in place. There are three areas that open up from the Cottage to outside to enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening! Close but not right next to the common areas near the pool to sit back and relax any time of the day. Close to beach and restaurants. The trolley to Siesta Key Beach stops very close by if you choose to leave here at all! Highly recommend this resort which is run by amazing owner and staff.
Perfect, secluded little family get away! I loved everything about it there, we stayed in Caribbean cottage. Clean and right in the water, the maintenance man was amazing! And front desk manager was so sweet and nice! We will be coming back every year we found the perfect place!
We recently stayed at Turtle Beach Resort in the Southwest cottage. We booked very last minute and arrived after hours. Alana made it a point to come back over to the resort just to greet us and show us around. We fell in love immediately. The views of the bay are absolutely breathtaking. Alana made us feel like we were family and she took so much time out of her evening just to show us the kayaks, the bikes and even the beach chairs that came with our cottage. Our cabin was immaculate and the bed and pillows were so comfy.
The AC cooled the cabin perfectly. We couldn’t believe that they had coffee for us and even creamers in the fridge. We loved that the beach was right across the street and two restaurants within a quick walk down the road. We had so much fun exploring the area on the bikes. The pool was incredibly clean and cared for daily. It is heated and so amazing to swim while looking out over the gorgeous bay views. We loved sitting out on the deck with our coffee while watching the stunning sunrise. The entire grounds are kept up so beautifully. We just loved the pretty bright flowers and trees all around us. We were also so happy to meet Alana’s dad when he came by to repair something. This is a family run resort where it is very clear that there is a lot of pride and a true loyalty and commitment to the guests. We are already planning to book our next stay. If I could give this 10 stars I would!
We booked our stay at the inn and could not have had a better time. Quiet and laid back is what we were looking for and exactly what we found. Office personnel were super in any of our needs and we certainly will be back.
